]]>Congratulations on the new book, Michael!
Definitely use email for the initial pitch. You can follow up by either phone or email, but catching producers by phone at the “right” time can be challenging, so email all the way is fine.
For fiction, you’ll need to pitch something more than, “I’ve written a thriller.” You need a hook that’s relevant and timely.
Here’s more info. on hooks and pitching radio:

Good luck!

]]>I enjoyed the article. I’m a debut author with a new thriller on Amazon.
What is the best way to initiate a pitch for a radio or TV interview?
A telephone call pitch?
An emailpitch?
A one-page written pitch by snail mail?
Or does it depend?
Thanks
]]>So the question is: Does your book have radio publicity potential so you can take advantage of that?
